Upcoming projects

Hi there,

I thought I'd make a brief post about what upcoming projects you can expect to see in the future, since I value keeping you all up to date.

I'll provide regular updates through this place if these upcoming projects change in any capacity.

Short-term projects/content:

  • More blog posts covering depression topics.
  • A “depression self-test” that’s based on the PHQ-9, a depressive screening tool/questionnaire that measures how frequently a person has been troubled by depression over the past 2 weeks.
  • A “depression mood tracker” that tracks your mood/depression each day by completing 9 short questions by encircling a number for each question, depending on how true you deem it to be. It can also be used to spot patterns, such as feeling worse during weekdays because you must go to the job you despise, for instance.
  • An online directory of therapists who treat depression.

Long-term projects/content:

  • A depression app, ideally a comprehensive "all-in-one" that tracks mood, allows journaling, identifies depression, and offers solutions/actionable steps to take. (It should be noted that this will cost a lot of money to develop, and the only way I can do so is if I can somehow monetize the website to invest enough resources into the app.) Since I’m a regular middle-class employee, that’s currently not in the cards, but might (hopefully) become possible in the future with some luck and hard work on my part.
  • A behavioral workbook covering actionable steps to take to combat depression.
  • A workbook for depressed individuals without motivation to do anything.

These are the most essential things I'm looking to do right now, but please make sure to inform me about what projects you'd like to see in the future, and provide me with feedback about my existing content. (Both positive and negative guidance is appreciated.)

I can't do this without you, and I want as much advice from my users as possible to ensure they get what they want, all the while guaranteeing continuous quality!
