When can you stop CBT?

You may be ready to stop when:

  1. You feel confident using CBT techniques on your own.
  2. Your symptoms have improved, and you can manage setbacks.
  3. You and your therapist agree that your goals have been met.

It’s designed to be efficient and time-limited, but there’s no single timeline for everyone.

If you’re seeing progress, even small improvements, stick with it!
